Postponement of HortNZ Events

HortNZ’s Board has reviewed the events planned through winter this year and decided because of COVID-19, the following events are postponed:

  • HortNZ’s AGM postponed until Friday 25 September 2020.
  • The Director elections and the appointed director selection process postponed until later in 2020 to link in with the delayed AGM.  See the timetables below.
  • The Horticulture Conference and Gala Dinner postponed to 2021.
  • The Horticulture Awards postponed to 2021 as there is no Gala Dinner.
  • The National Final of Young Grower Competitions postponed to 2021 as are the Regional competitions that have not been held as yet.
  • The RSE Conference postponed until 2021, but it may be replaced later in the year with a short conference depending on COVID-19 situation.
