Grocery Code of Conduct
The Grocery Code of Conduct came into effect on 28 September 2023. It creates new rules to promote fair conduct in the relationship between regulated retailers and suppliers. The Code gives protections to growers who supply directly to one of the main supermarket chains - Foodstuffs North and South Island or Woolworths.
